I'm currently working on designing the Starlife Beauty Salon website in downtown Edmonton.
I designed and developed their website using WordPress, ensuring a captivating online presence. After thorough discussions with the salon owner and gathering all the necessary information, I successfully deployed the website.
I incorporated various plugins to enhance its functionality and utilized PHP and CSS coding. Notable features include the integration of Google Maps, customer reviews, and trust badges.
In the next phase of this project, I am excited to add an online booking system to streamline the salon's operations further.
I had the privilege of designing a website for a professional photography studio using the Squarespace website builder and hosting per the client's request.
It was an excellent opportunity to showcase my expertise in Squarespace and create a fully functional and visually stunning website utilizing their powerful tools.
After gathering all the necessary information, I designed the logo and web pages to capture the essence of the studio's vision. Exciting additions are in the pipeline, including an online booking system, a vintage camera gallery, and a portfolio of conceptual photography.
Throughout the development process, I leveraged my Photoshop, Illustrator, and CSS coding skills. The website will be completed with the artist's materials, ensuring a unique and accomplished final result.
I had the opportunity to work on a project for a Tennessee-based company that specializes in providing commercial and residential products for electricians.
This involved creating an online shop using WooCommerce to facilitate wholesale customer transactions. Considering the company's specific requirements, I installed the necessary plugins, contact forms, and integrated maps for enhanced functionality.
The extensive product library was tailored precisely to meet their needs, achieved through detailed consultations with the company.
I utilized PHP and CSS coding throughout the development process to personalize the website's appearance and ensure a seamless user experience.
The website is fully responsive and mobile-friendly, ensuring optimal viewing and usability across different devices.
The website is scheduled to launch in September 2023, and I look forward to continuing to enhance its functionality in close collaboration with the owner.
My web design journey started a decade ago when I delved into the world of web design, using HTML, CSS, and PHP to create dynamic websites. Things were quite different then, but I developed a solid foundation for my skills during those early years.
May 2012, attended Iran's Web Conference with instructor Mohammad Baghery Nasab and met Bernard Gidon, W3C Middle East Development Manager.
Fast forward four years, and I found myself in Canada, eager to expand my knowledge and take my craft to the next level. I enrolled at Nait and took a Digital Media and IT diploma, specializing in the Web Design stream. This experience opened my eyes to exciting new techniques and modern methods that perfectly complemented my expertise.
Today, I'm proud to combine the best of both worlds, blending my old-fashioned experience with fresh, cutting-edge approaches to create eye-catching and stunning websites and web applications.
But that's not all! Along the way, I also reignited an old passion of mine—photography. I've loved it for years and couldn't resist taking photography courses to sharpen my skills. I bring a unique perspective and artistic touch to my projects.
